About Prisoner B-3087Prisoner B-3087 follows Yanek a 13 year old Jewish boy through his experiences in the holocaust. In 1939 Hitler's army of Nazis enter and take control of Kraków, Poland where then 10 year old Yanek lives with his family. After less than a month of turning 13 and becoming a man in the eyes of the Jewish community Yanek's family is killed and he is taken into a concentration camp. Over the next six years Yanek is transferred to 10 different concentration camps and has become a slave to the Nazis and Hitler. In the story Yanek must over come physical, emotional, social and mental obstacles in order to make it through the holocaust. Follow Yanek while he tries to blend into the crowd to survive and tries to comprehend everything that has happened to him.
